Shieldex® 22/1 + 113/32 PES
A twisted yarn made of metallized polyamide and multifilament polyester. Antibacterial and antistatic - ideal for antimicrobial clothing (silver is a biocidal agent according to §67 of the EU Biocide Regulation) and general static dissipation in the field of industry, home wear, carpets and footwear. The yarn metallized with silver is OEKO-TEX® certified.
This twisted yarn consists of a Shieldex yarn with a titer of 22dtex and a multifilament polyester (PES) of 113/32dtex. Due to the twisting with PES, this yarn construction has a very low elongation and at the same time high tensile strength. This Shieldex twisted yarn is used in the textile industry in products with antistatic functions. Examples include antistatic carpets, clothing and footwear. The target market for this product is the large-scale textile industry. Oeko-Tex® certification and RoHS and REACH compliance is given.
