Antimicrobial, electrically and thermally conductive and antistatic - This yarn is easy to knit and offers excellent performance due to its antimicrobial properties. Ideal for products in the field of antimicrobial clothing (silver is a biocidal agent according to §67 of the EU Biocide Regulation) as well as antistatic applications.
Shieldex® 33/10 has a titre of 33dtex and a round cross-section. The Z-twisted yarn is primarily used in the textile industry in products with antistatic, antimicrobial and electromagnetic shielding functions. Examples include antimicrobial, anti-odor and electromagnetic shielding garments and antistatic carpets and curtains. The target market for this product is the large-scale textile industry. OEKO-Tex® certification and RoHS and REACH conformity is given.
