The silver yarn Shieldex® 33/10 Antimicrobial is a Z-twisted yarn with a titre of 33dtex and a round cross-section. The yarn metallized with pure silver is popular in the textile industry for use in products with antimicrobial, antodor and antifungal functions. Examples include antimicrobial garments in the workwear and sportswear sectors, and antimicrobial bed covers and mattresses. The target market for this product is the large-scale textile industry.
