Antimicrobial, electrically and thermally conductive and antistatic - This yarn with a titer of 44dtex is easy to knit and offers excellent performance due to its antimicrobial properties. Ideal for products in the field of antimicrobial and electromagnetic radiation shielding clothing (silver is a biocidal active ingredient according to §67 of the EU Biocide Regulation) and antistatic applications.
Shieldex® 44/10 has a titre of 44dtex and a round cross-section. The Z-twisted yarn is primarily used in the textile industry in products with antistatic, antimicrobial and electromagnetic radiation shielding functions. Ideal for clothing in the field of electrosensitivity. Other examples of processing include antimicrobial and anti-odor and electromagnetic shielding garments and antistatic carpets and curtains. The target market for this product is the large-scale textile industry. OEKO-Tex® certification and RoHS and REACH compliance is given.
