Shieldex® Bilbao
Shieldex® Bilbao is a chemically bonded, antimicrobial nonwoven with a silver content of approx. 16%. Due to the antimicrobial effect of the silver, this nonwoven is primarily processed in the clothing industry as a lining fabric. This nonwoven fabric is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified and can therefore be worn next to the skin.
Shieldex® Bilbao is a chemically bonded nonwoven fabric metallized with 99.9% pure silver. The silver content in the silver-coated and antimicrobial nonwoven fabric is up to 16% and is therefore primarily processed for fabrics with antimicrobial effects. These include, above all, functional garments . Due to the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 conformity, this nonwoven fabric can also be worn on the skin. The silver content also has a thermal and electrical conductive effect. RoHS and REACH conformity is also given.
