Conductive textile with conductive silicone! This conductive combination is ideal for dry electrodes in the EMS and medical field. More flexibility, more performance. The 22% elastomer content makes Shieldex® Silitex stretchable in two directions. Silver is a biocidal active ingredient according to §67 of the EU Biocide Regulation.
Shieldex® Silitex is a knitted fabric metallized with pure silver, consisting of 78% polyamide and 22% elastane. The elastane is knitted in warp and weft direction, so that this electrically and thermally conductive textile is dengable on both sides. The special feature of Shieldex® Silitex is the silicone coating on one side. This additional coating makes the conductive textile very resistant to mechanical stress. The electrically conductive materials make Shieldex® Silitex ideal for use with dry electrodes for electronic muscle and nerve stimulation or for measuring vital parameters in sports and medical applications.
